Halfway Through!

The semester is already halfway over; it's really hard to believe. One project, Channel 6, its almost complete. For the project I developed a logo, storyboard for a short ident, and a style guide of a niche Camping and Caravanning Channel. Although I haven't officially completed the style guide, I plan to create a booklet that is side stitched with thread. The inside pages will also be deckled to create a worn, yet elegant design to the style guide. It was a very interesting project to complete, because you had to create a brand that would look great on television, as well as in print.

For the next half of the semester, we are moving further along with the Benfield Car Dealership project. The brief is to create a sub brand targeting 18 to 35 year olds and design something that will persuade young people to purchase cars with Benfield. Our other project brief is a fundraising campaign for a local UK charity called Changing Lives. Changing Lives tackles the difficult problems of homelessness, domestic abuse, violence against women, and addiction. It is a group project, which makes for a interesting, collaborative project.

I will try and post my Channel 6 project soon. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of the other briefs. That's all for now, but I will post again soon!
